Hector's trick

Mat and Fletcher were going to the park. Suddenly, They saw a giant oil heater. "Bet you can't climb that." Dared Fletcher. "Of course I can climb it," Retorted Mat. "Cats are very good climbers." He scaled half way up. "See!" He said. "I can climb it." "You're very high up." Fletcher said. "I am?" Wondered Mat. "Oh, I am!" Then he fell down. Fletcher giggled. "I bet you can't climb up to the tippy top!" He challenged. Slowly, Mat climbed up to the very top. "What a view! I can see everything from up here!" But what he couldn't see was that Hector was walking on the other side. "Beep bop scee doo ruff ruff!" He hummed. Then he tripped over the cord. "Ow!"He said. "It doesn't feel good." He thought. "I wonder what it tastes like." He stuck his tongue out and tasted it. ''OOOWWWWWW!!!" He screamed. "That's hot!" He Quickly pulled away. "Hi, Mat." He called up to Mat. "Hi, Hector. I'm sure glad this isn't on! It would be hot!" That gave Hector an Idea. He plugged in the cord. "Man, That's hot!!!!!!!" Mat yelled. Mat jumped up and down twisting and turning to avoid the hotness. "Ow, ow! Ow, ow! OWW!" Mat did all Kinds of crazy moves! Fletcher laughed and gave Mat advice. ''To your left! No, to your right! Left! Your other left!" Mat did a flying cartwheels dance, then flopped, tired out, on top. "Hot." He said. "HOTTT!" Hector put the cord in and pulled it out. Put it in and pulled it out, over and over. He finally pulled it out. Mat dropped on top. "I'm pooped." He said. "Time for the grand finale!" Shouted Hector. He shoved it in again. "OOOWWWW!!!!!!!!" Screamed Mat.
