Mat in space

Mat and Freckles looked out at the stars. It had been a busy day. First, Sally had given the kittens a bath. Then they journeyed to the railway, where Frank had crashed and a runaway car had been bound. Mat had gone down a waterfall. They had gone through a discouraging night, where Mat had gone as far as locking himself in the trunk to get away from the noise. Then out into the day where Mat discovered the airport. Of course, after the package fell off the airplane, Mat jumped after it.

Suddenly Mat saw a lamp. " It must be magic," said Mat. "I wish we could go into space!" ''No we don't!'' said Freckles. Soon, they were on the Moon. '' I coo square you thus puss thiss theese thin my out.'' Mat mumbled. "What did you say?" asked Freckles. Mat spit out the cheese. "I said, 'I could swear you just put this cheese in my mouth.', and you did!!!!" "WHA YA!" Freckles tumbled head over heels as Mat wrestled him. They both tumbled into a crater. "How do we get out of this this thing?'' Freckles wondered. ''Never mind about that,'' Mat said. ''Look, aliens!". ''Where, where?'' Freckles murmured. Mat twisted his head around towards the aliens. ''There.'' Mat said. Suddenly, the Aliens crept toward them. ''Ooh! a stranger from the mysterious above.'' one said. One alien cut a trap door. "Down here, if you want to get out.'' one said. ''no!,'' said Mat. ''Come, on Freckles!''. Each one grabbed a stick and stuck it up high in the ground. They were going to use them to climb up. ''What are you doing with our tongs?'' one alien asked. ''I don't know!!'' cried Mat as he and Freckles' sticks slid down. Then, their sticks stuck and they fell down into the trap door where they swam in water out of the crater. Then, they wished to be back home, and they were.

Kitty-kitty go carts part 2

Sally got the kittens in the car and drove off, leaving Mat staring after her in astonishment. " But you don't know the tracks! ", Mat called after her. Grady just waved out of the back of the truck. Then, Freckles pedaled in on his scoot-skate-bike contraption. His dad was an inventor and was always thinking up things for his son. Freckles was nine years old and was great at karate. "Want to do band practice today?" he asked. "NO!!!!!!!!!!!!" Mat yelled and jumped on the contraption and pedaled away after the disappearing truck. Freckles started to run after him but stopped and jumped on Mat's bike and pedaled after Mat into the railroad boundaries. Sally stopped the car and came into the station. The kittens went behind the desk while Sally bought the tickets. When the receptionist put down the ticket puncher, Flecher grabbed it and punched it. It was for a package. Flecher had punched it for the cliff side. They went outside and they saw a big engine. "I'm Fred,'' it said. ''I ain't the biggest train in the ol' west, but I'm the fastest." "Oooh!! ", the kittens aahed. Mat and Freckles came into the station. "First, I need to see when my package will be here." Mat said. They looked at an electronic map. The freight car was headed for the cliff side. "That track is not even finished!'' he said and shot out the door. Mat and Freckles jumped onto a handcar and started after the truck. Fred was going too fast around a bend and flew off the track into the air. Grady giggled as she fell from the floor to the ceiling . Tom's nose was pressed against the window. Finally they fell into a field. BAM!!!! Mat and Freckles pumped until Mat saw the crash. Mat jumped off. Freckles couldn't stop and it banged into a giant rock. The force threw Freckles through the air. Mat banged open the door. "SALLY!!!" he yelled. A swarm of small kittens rushed out and hugged his knee. Mat fell over. Sally hugged him. Just then, Mat saw a shadow over them. "Ow!" said Mat as Freckles fell on them. Mat saw the runaway freight car and jumped on it. Freckles and Sally and the kittens got on Fred and followed Mat along the track. At the cliff edge, the car rattled over the cliff just as Fred arrived. The freight car - and the package - fell down the waterfall. "No!'' cried Mat, as he dove after it. Sally started after him, but Freckles grabbed her tail and pulled her up. "We can take the hike'', he said and pointed down a narrow little path. They ran down the path into some teenagers. Sally and Freckles told them about Mat. The teenagers canoed out to Mat and rescued him. Sally, Mat, Freckles, and the kittens had to get to the airport. Mat drove through the night. In the back of the car, the kittens switched channels on their portable TV. Soon Mat fell asleep. Freckles slammed into Mat's seat and began driving. This lasted until a high-pitched scream from the TV woke him up. "That's a horror movie." Freckles explained. Mat looked over and nodded. He went back to sleep. Next, he heard kissy-kissy sounds coming from behind him. "That's a romance", said Freckles. Mat could not stand it when he heard loud bangs from the back seat. "I think that's the Destruction Channel", said Freckles. "Will you shut that racket up!" shouted Mat. He was soon able to fall asleep again. Until.... neer ne ne narr, banged the guitar. The kittens had got the radio on the heavy punk channel. The kittens were screaming along with it. Finally, Mat gave them headphones. They were still screaming along with it. "Stop the car!" Mat yelled. Freckles pulled to the curb. Mat jumped out of the car and locked himself in the trunk - away from the noise. When Sally saw that Freckles had stopped, she kicked him over and started driving. "But you don't know how", said Freckles, Sally went anyway. Mat was being bounced in the back of the truck. Soon, with all Sally's screeching and skidding, Mat fell asleep. Soon, they reached the airport. They came aboard the plane. Much to Freckles' annoyance, Grady sat with him. She pestered him the whole way. Soon, Mat was talking with the flight attendant. Freckles couldn't stand the flight. Then, the luggage compartment fell off the plane. Mat hit the emergency button. The alarm started. Mat and the others slid down. Teddy didn't have a parachute and clung to Mat. They splashed down into a pond. All of them, except the package...which landed on a riverbank. They plunged underwater and bobbed up. Then everyone started laughing. "Swim everybody!", called a joyous Mat. It had been an adventure to remember. Later, at Mat's house, everyone gathered around the package. When they opened it, it was a toy train set.

Our new friends

We got these new friends from Santa. The one that they're sitting on is Rodger. The one leaning on poor Rodger's head is Chester. The one strangling Chester is Freckles and the chubby one at the end is Cheddar.

A Happy New Year from the gang

Happy New Year 2011! Mat and the gang have been introduced to some new friends through out the holidays: Albert the otter, Swampy, Chester, Freckles, Cheddar, and Rodger Dodger detective dog. Some of you may be looking for Kitty-Kitty go-carts part 2 - and I tell ya, it's great. When Sally takes the kittens on a trip to Mat's work (the railroad) they meet extraordinary trains that take them on one adventure after another. These events collide on a day where Mat gets a special package. But it's traveling on a freight car that's headed for a cliff. So, all Mat and his new friend Freckles can do is hop aboard, and go after that package! Stay tuned, and a Happy New Year.
